Pregnancy
Pregnancy puts an enormous amount of pressure on your body, as your bump grows. Many women experience lower back pain, pelvic pain, stress urinary incontinence, and symphysis pubis disorder (SPD). A physiotherapy appointment can help you to alleviate some of these symptoms, and give you guidance on effective exercises that will help through your journey.

Post Natal – Beyond the Bump
Pregnancy and childbirth have a big impact on women’s bodies, and can cause pelvic pain, diastasis recti abdominal separation, bladder or fecal incontinence, muscular pain, of painful sexual intercourse.
Our signature Beyond the Bump session helps women with these conditions. We welcome you to bring your baby along to the appointment, and the consultation time does allow time for feeding if required*.
* Please note that our practice is located on the 3rd floor of the building and there is no lift. Please keep this in mind when bringing your baby.

Other Conditions
· Painful intercourse
On the day of your first appointment, we will have an in-depth discussion to understand your needs to help you to improve the quality of your life. Note that not all of these conditions will require an internal vaginal examination. Often, an external examination will suffice, and will be decided on by your physiotherapist. This will only be carried out with full informed consent. You can stop the examination at any point, should you feel uncomfortable.
